Lets talk about fashion: LEOPARD PRINT SCARF!

This is my latest love. I got this leopard print scarf for just 2.47USD! I got it from buyincoins and I adore it! I've worn it a couple of times and received quite a few compliments for it.

I love how versatile this is. It can be worn with a dress or with a plain tee or a sweater. It can dress up the most drab outfit.

You can buy the same scarf here!

Wet n wild trio- spoiled brat

I'll be reviewing the wet n wild eye shadow trio today. The one I have is called spoiled brat and the three colors are black, hot pink and silver.

The colors are super pigmented! I specially love the hot pink! What I like about the wet n wild trios is that the colors are labelled. There's one for the brow bone, one for the crease and one for the eyelid. Makes things easier!

However, I was really disappointed with the brow bone color. It's too silver and I dont think its appropriate to highlight your brow bone. Also, there's a lot of fall out!

But for a price of around 3USD, its a very good buy! I just wish they were available in India!

My Take, My Rating : 3.5/5

Lets talk about fashion: NUDE HEELS!

So I finally got myself some nude heels! I've wanted these for so long! I was looking for the perfect pair and I found these at Catwalk. I got them for Rs.1895 and I think that is pretty reasonable since these would look good with just about anything!
Do you own a pair of nude heels? What do you team them up with?

Victoria's Secret So Sexy Dry shampoo

I'll be reviewing a dry shampoo today. A dry shampoo usually comes in a powder or spray form. It is used when one wants fresh and dry (non oily) hair without using water and traditional shampoo.

Victoria's Secret So Sexy Clean and Go dry shampoo claims to instantly absorb oil for a revived look.
  • Absorbs excess oil with Oat and Rice powders.
  • Removes product build up.

It is suitable for all hair types. To use, hold the can 10-12 inches from dry hair and spray, concentrating on oily areas. Let it dry. Brush out thoroughly.

Price : 14 USD for 110g

The first thing I noticed about this product is that it smells HEAVENLY. I mean, it has the most beautiful fragrance.
And yes, it does absorb excess oil. So it definitely performs its function.
However, using a dry shampoo will never give you the feeling of fresh, washed hair. It is not a substitute to washing your hair!
I use it mainly when I've flat ironed my hair and want to flaunt my super straight locks for more than 2 days.
Also, I found the price pretty reasonable. Unfortunately, this is not available in India. In fact, I don't think any of the dry shampoos are.

So would I repurchase? I dont think I would need to, given the quantity and how rarely I use it. But if I do need another dry shampoo, I would like to dry Batiste.

My Take, My Rating : 3.5/5

Tip of the Day

Frizzy hair?? Avoid using a towel to dry your hair. Use a cotton t-shirt instead! After washing your hair, squeeze out the excess water and gently pat your hair with a tee-shirt. This would eliminate frizz and leave your hair manageable!

L'Oreal Hip Metallic Shadow Duo- 106 Sculpted

I got this Eye shadow duo from L'oreal on a recent trip to New York. I had heard so much about the Hip eyeshadow duos and I just had to buy one.
The shade I have is 106 Sculpted. One of the shades is dark purple and the other one is pinkish-mauvish and shimmery!

My camera could not really pick up the swatch colors. The eyeshadows are much more pigmented. I especially love the pink shade. Its super pretty! These eyeshadows can be used wet or dry. NO CREASING WHATSOEVER!! Woohoo!
I found the packaging really interesting. There is a seperate compartment for the applicator. However, the applicator is quite useless. :|

At 7$, the eyeshadow duo was a steal! I think the shades are universally flattering and look beautiful individually or together!
Unfortunately, these duos are not available in India. I wonder why. L'oreal has had a presence in India for so long and this product should definitely be launched here!

My Take, My Rating : 4/5 (Would have been a 5 if they were available locally)
